Several camellias aged over a hundred years are in full bloom at the Magnolia Camellia Garden of the city’ botanical garden. Branches laden with pink flowers, resembling a rosy cloud in winter, is a sight alluring to people to take photos with.

The Camellia Garden is home to hundreds of camellia groves of more than fifty varieties. They usually bloom from November to March the following year. One of them, literally named “Winter Red Camellia” or “Beauty Camellia,” is an evergreen shrub. It stands taller than other varieties, with a tapestry of compact and graceful appearance. The early bloomer, and quite cold-resistance, is undoubtedly the most popular one in the garden.
