Strolling on the street illuminated by vibrant neon lights and watching the stunning light shows have become a popular leisure trend among locals and out-of-towners in Hangzhou.

The schedule of landscaping and performance lighting in the urban areas of Hangzhou has “entered summertime,” valid till September 30, according to the Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Coordinated Administrative Law Enforcement for Urban Management.

Landscape Lighting:

1.Qiantang River banks and seven key commercial districts: 19:00-22:30, Monday to Sunday;

2.Other areas: 19:00-22:30, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Performance Lighting:

1. Light show by the bank of the Qiantang River: beginning at 19:30 and 20:30, Friday and Saturday; beginning at 20:30, Sunday to Thursday;

2.Qianjiang New Town musical fountain show: beginning at 19:15 and 20:15, Friday and Saturday; beginning at 20:15, Sunday to Thursday;

3. West Lake musical fountain show: beginning at 19:30, Monday to Sunday;

4. Wulin Square musical fountain show: beginning at 18:30, 19:30, and 20:30, Monday to Sunday.

The lighting schedule is subject to change during holidays and major events.
